Raden Ajeng Kartini is a national hero of women’s rights and female education in Indonesia in the 19th century.

She was a pioneer in fighting against the normal social customs for women in Jepara. She fought for the rights for women to have equal rights as men.

She wrote a book “From The Dark Comes Light”. It is about women’s lives at that time and she encouraged all women to pursue education as high as possible.

She was persistent in her fighting until her last breath, and become a true inspiration for Indonesia women to grow their potentials without any cultural limitations.

Kartini Festival, founded in 2024, aims to equip and activate Indonesian women for their divine calling & mission.

It’s not just an event, but also a community, a family, and a movement where we are calling the woman to receive their inheritance and pursue their God given destiny.

  • First I really love all the prophetic words, theme, gifts, groups activities, paintings, pictures, bookmarks, etc.

    The sessions and topics are related and interesting. The panel talk is so insightful.

  • I like the idea that this event really engage with the Holy Spirit, unlike many other events. The cards we take randomly every morning - what I got for the 3 days were speaking of my past, present and future time zones. When I saw the "open door" in the Spirit and conveyed to Anita for discussion with the African leaders, I didn't expect to be the one leading the prophetic act for everyone to step into the NEW and leave their past behind. That became a big highlight to me in this event.
